Our courses offer challenging, real-life situations that provide in-depth, interactive and absorbing educational opportunities. At the same time, they're easy to deploy and administer. The result is a successful corporate compliance training program that employees and supervisors actually enjoy.

Scenario Based

At the heart of every Workplace Answers human resources training and development solution are our realistic, relatable, interactive scenarios and award-winning illustrations. They're all based on common, relevant workplace situations, as well as events or issues that have arisen in the community. Regardless of job level, position or title, employees see themselves in our courses and are therefore more likely to retain information.

Interactive Questions & Answers

Certificates of Completion

Our customers really appreciate our certification solution. It's an easy and effective way to verify compliance training. Certificates may be used to prove compliance training or simply kept in personnel files. They also look great hanging proudly on cube walls!

This training seminar utilizes active audience participation, computer generated graphics, sound, and video that when joined along with the instructor, produces an effective program that is also entertaining.  This web site is provided as a contact point, normally by referral.  Please take a moment and review some of our educational information and sign up for your program today.

Words can not express the effectiveness of this training.  It must be experienced.

·         Why Train on This Topic?

According to the National Crime Victimization Survey (NCVS), 2 million assaults and threats of violence against Americans at work occur annually. This includes 396,000 aggravated assaults, 51,000 rapes and sexual assaults, 84,000 robberies, and 1,000 homicides. In addition to assaults and threats, a substantial number of employers report being bullied or harassed on the job.

Providing the Executive Defense Technology course to your employees will:

o        Clearly communicate your organization's commitment to employee health and safety

o        Give employees practical skills for preventing, responding to, and reporting incidents of workplace violence

o        Reduce the risk and cost of lawsuits and fines related to workplace violence

o        Help educate and prevent off-work violence injuries which cost your corporation as much or more than workplace violence incidents

·         Who Should Take This Course?

All employees (Non-supervisor and supervisor versions available).

·         Course Content

EDT’s workplace violence prevention course teaches employees practical skills to prevent and respond properly to threats, abuse, and violent behavior that employees may face from other employees, customers, vendors, or strangers in their workplace.

Through a series of interactive case studies, exercises, and role-playing activities, employees learn step-by-step information they need to perform their duties while avoiding and preventing workplace violence. Among other things, employees learn how to:

o        Gauge their risk of experiencing workplace violence

o        Identify potential risk factors for workplace violence

o        Spot the "early warning signs" of workplace violence

o        Know when to report questionable or threatening behavior

o        Defuse threatening situations when they occur

Properly react to an episode of workplace violence
