Education is Your Best Defense....

The statistics are staggering: 95,000 rapes reported every year in the U.S., 875,000 assaults, and 400,000 other violent crimes. When most people think about their personal wellness, they think of diet, exercise, and routine checkups with the doctor. However, what most people fail to realize is that personal safety is a critical piece of the personal wellness puzzle. In fact, people have a higher chance of being a victim of aggravated assault than dying of heart disease. There is substantial focus on exercise, supplements, and spirituality, but what are people doing to prevent being a victim of violence? People understand that in order to prevent heart disease, they need to take steps like cutting out fatty foods and exercising regularly, but most people do not know what to do to prevent being a victim of violence. A violent crime happens every 22 seconds, and every 5.5 minutes a rape occurs – it’s time for people to start concentrating on personal safety.

EDT's program teaches people how to be safer, more aware, and when paired with a chemical deterrant, non-lethal personal protection, puts people on their way to becoming more empowered and in control of their personal safety.

  • Awareness
  • Avoidance
  • Response

Our program teaches people how to use these three areas in everyday life to avoid a dangerous situation, and if necessary, react so that they may remove themselves from the risk.
